Its absolutely ridiculous for parents to think and make statements saying that a teachers job is to take their childrens stress because that is what were paid to do. Correction to anyone with this notion. You are clearly misinformed. We are paid to educate your children; and some of us who love our jobs try to nurture and mold your children. The stress comes with the territory and those of us who have a passion for education accept that. However we CHOSE to go beyond our duties to try to steer your children in the right direction. We chose to do what parents are supposed to. If we were paid to take stress I guarantee my pay check doesnt add up lol. Im saying this to say that there are some of us who are going to give many years of our lives to educating children...IT IS NOT EASY but were willing. So dont assume that the school is a replacement for the home. Parents have their fair share of the work to do as well. That is all... #ProudEducator
