Its all about perspective, you very own.. People often ask me, what really is photography? Well, its all about perspective. The way you see things, the way you live your life, the way you dream about it. Being creative in photography or elsewhere is such a deeply personal and mystical process that if you ask 10 different people you will most likely receive 10 different answers. I try to promote the art of photography on the kefalonia page and whether you agree or not, my view is that photography is about timing, vision, skills, talent, state of mind and even technology.. without sophisticated cameras we might have not been able to capture that precious moment. Centuries ago artists used to capture the moment by recreating their subject and its background using paints on a canvas. It could take hours, weeks, years in some cases and few people had the talent, ability or the facilities to do that. Then came photography to revolutionize visual arts and imaging. Most recent advances in digital camera technology enable people to bring out a little photographer for fun, memories, work.. for whatever reason we can all be creative but nonetheless everyone that takes photos with a modern digital camera/phone/tablet has to rely on technology. What you are about to see is truly amazing.. no expensive creative machines, no software, no stabilizers, no filters, nothing! Just bare hands, paint oils and a whole lot of talent! Takes you back when technology was at an infant stage, where creativity was wild and absolute and only limited by hardware tools.
