Its almost Hallows Eve, Is what you all want to call As the voices of the dead Whisper kill them all... We talk of sweets and candy, Gross pumpkins and slutty nurses. Zombie killing tools that are handy, And stretch limo hearses. But while all this talk Of the dead and the dark, The general idea is, Its just a lark! I will rather warn you that this has a cost, A fee to be paid, A tradition not to be lost. A debt to be paid to The nature of our darkness The true spirit of this day, Pay respect to the shadows. So while you drink and be merry, And make mockery, of the genuinely scary Ill rejoice in the dead and the black bits of our soul, Its what keeps us whole And is todays goal! And in this spirit (see what I did there!) Ill share some things Thatll make you despair. But not out of spite, Its just that its right Especially for this night as tonight. Be afraid, and rejoice!
