Its almost impossible to accurately explain the Grace of God, it - TopicsExpress

Its almost impossible to accurately explain the Grace of God, it must be experienced, once experienced, no explanation is necessary. To try and define a Divine encounter with a Living God in words, only robs from the reality, that can only manifest through entering in by faith. Jesus often spoke, concealing the matter (parables), that could only be unveiled by and through experiencing an encounter with the Living Word, and that by faith. His Wisdom is concealed from those who believe themselves to be wise in this world, but reveals it openly and gladly to the humble, those who are His. In trying to expound upon the Grace of God, the unrenewed and carnal mind will almost always try and pervert it, being deceived into believing it to be a license to sin. But to those who have leaped in by faith, allowing every question to go unanswered, but fully trusting in God, it is then you experience the reality of Grace, and have no more questions. Paul himself in teaching on Grace, had to multiple times, knowing unrenewed minds would misinterpret, explain it wasnt a license to sin. The Gospel of Grace just seemed to good to be true. As we accept that He made us Holy (set apart for God by God) and the Righteousness of God (put in right standing with God by God), there is a process of sanctification (mind renewal) that happens. From the beginning of this adventure with God, until we are firmly established in who He made us the day we got saved, there is Mercy and Grace for our failures. This Grace keeps the the evil one from keeping us down when we fail, by breaking the power of the accuser off of us, condemnation. When we accept condemnation, guilt, and shame for our failures, this doesnt empower us to rise above them, but ensures that we will never get free. It is then that Love Himself, Who keeps no records of wrongs, comes to comfort and reassure us that we are still the righteousness of God, and that it is not our works that established us, but Jesuss works. We were but deceived into acting contrary to our new nature. Grace empowers us to live free from condemnation, while we go through the process sanctification. Holy Spirit goes to work, conforming our behavior and transforming our mind, to reflect the reality of our new nature, that which is made Holy, pure, and righteous by God once and for all at the new birth. He keeps us and protects us while we learn to be led by His Spirit, Who will never lead us into sin. In this learning process sadly we seem to learn through trial and error, what is Him, and what is the evil one (he often comes as an angel of light quoting scripture). The Word says the mature in Christ are able to discern between good and evil, and are led by the Spirit. The end result being an established people in His Grace and Righteousness, that are effective in the knowledge of God, whos behavior and thinking line up with our God given identity, and walk in Holiness.
