Its als brought into my notice that a notification issued by punjab Govt Health Department that Paid House job slots will not be given to graduates of Private or Foreign medical graduates even if they are lying vacant.In gujrat almost 25 to 30 paid seats are lying vacant for house officers and they are working witout pay.What a great injustice?I Wanna ask General Council Presidents as well as committee on dialogue,when this stupid notification was issued why you remained silent.Why immediate action is not taken.Phir kahte hein ke General Council ke faisle ghalat nahn hote.Let me tell doctors community what standard we got from health department in our time for house officers in order of preference.Read carefully;1.Paid seat will be given to graduates from same affiliated medical college.2.then if seats are vacant.Graduates from public sector from punjab.3.then comes public sector graduates from pakistan.4.then private college graduates from pakistan.5.if still paid seat are vacant then Foreign graduates.we have notification.Its a cruel act if seat are vacant and doctors work without pay.Wake up YDA Punjab and protect rights of young doctors.
