Its also Universal Childrens day today. As a parent/ grandparent, the safety of my children/ grandchildren is of utmost importance to me. We should all make deliberate efforts to safeguard not just our own children, but all Nigerian children. We must work to stop all forms of violence against children; child abuse, witch-hunting, any form it takes. Our children are our future. It is heartwarming to see how the global narrative about Africa is slowly but surely changing. But we must do more! As an employer of labour, I know how vital job creation is to any economy. More jobs is equal to more educated children. Our collective progress is inevitable if we educate our children, protect them and create future employment opportunities for them.
