Its always an artist worst fear to find out the client you drew - TopicsExpress

Its always an artist worst fear to find out the client you drew something for, hates the art they received. :( Even demanded a refund. But, unless I royally screw up your request (which in this case, I didnt), my terms of service clearly state no refunds on completed pieces. I offered to do everything I could to improve their piece to their liking, but they insist its half assed compared to my previous work, and they demand a refund. Sorry, but... I dont see what they see as valid, and Im not giving in. Ultimately, you have to understand that we artists are human too. We do make mistakes, we do take our artistic liberty and freedom too far sometimes, and that can make our works go way off course. But, we do everything it takes to make our clients happy, because thats the whole reason we do what we do! We love to see our clients have their characters fly off the screen. When stuff like this happens, it makes me want to quit doing commissions forever, or makes me question myself as an artist, but in this case, I stand my ground. I dont think I did anything to deserve this. I did all I can, and ultimate to no avail. His complaints became more inconsistent and rather petty towards the end of our conversations. Im sure hell go on to attack me and try to shame my name (hopefully not), but my conscience is clear. I dont feel I did anything wrong. *sigh* I need a hug. ;__;
