Its always fun to leave the Magnetic Pull of Facebook for a few days and then, when you return, you find little Nuggets of Knowledge that make your Day. :) I found several when I returned this morning after spending a Wonderful Christmas Holiday (still in effect but Im now Wayyyyy More into the New Year) with Friends..... The first, from Chris Rock, is a Beauty. If a Celebrity says these things, theyre a Hero. If a Putz like me says them I have to post 73 pictures of Kittens to Sooth those Ive Offended by simply telling the Truth. You have to admit, I didnt rag on ANYONE for going broke buying gifts for those who dont want them or need them this Year. I was really pretty good.....You have to admit it. :) Right after that I saw a story about a Guy from Texas who posts here all the time about what a Hard-ass Gun Lover he is and how the Government is going to take his toys away. His Wife apparently (story too new to confirm) went on his wall, and disagreed with him...so he Shot and Killed her. Now THAT is a Downer. Are the Glasses shown below Half Full......or Half Empty? They used to sit on John Lennons Head......they no longer do. Another Downer that changed my Life....and His. Then I found the Ignore the Downer Pic.....I Like the Message and I like the Picture of Goldfinger with his Digits in his Ears.....Joy is a Biggie and the Pursuit of said JOY Really Should be our Prime Objective in Life. For many, including me, its not. I really need to Work on that. I have a plan. Ill soon be moving into a home wayyyyy out in the woods which has no Cable, No Internet, No Phone and Few Neighbors. BUT....it has loads of Joy. To me the trade off is worth it. :) That brings up my final topic in this post. :) As Ive said many times, I dont bring Facebook with me when I travel so I dont see your Messages. Most of the time the messages include things like you see here...quite often with the following request... Hey Rich, would you post this on your Timeline for me? Id do it but that would piss off my friends and family and I know you dont care about pissing people off. Oh...and please dont mention my name. I NEVER post things with the sole intent of pissing people off.....If it happens to make them THINK, thats cool....but never JUST to piss someone off. Yes, I did get your messages this morning upon my return, 23 of them and I truly appreciate each one, but theres an additional reason why I wont be posting them on my wall.....Youll just have to piss off your own Friends and Family and face the Consequences. You Cant Please Everyone...so You Work Harder to Please Yourself. :)
