Its amazing how enlightened my 12 year old sister is to most people I know. She wrote this. Faith Noel I love you and keep being the amazing person you are. DEPRESSION Depression it is a subject no one wants to talk about, especially if they have it. Depression isn’t something you can just get rid of. It is an emotion that is attached to you.... stuck to you like super glue. When you finally get back on your feet it pulls you right back down.....to the ground, like you are being stomped on. Depression is a battle which some fight by placing a blade to their beautiful skin, by swallowing pills or by practicing tying knots in a rope…. No future, no hope. When you deal with depression you never believe someone when they tell you “you are beautiful, you are smart” because there are so many others telling you that you are not.... so you heart begins to rot. What makes it all worse is that at night , when you run into your room and start crying and realize that no one understands how broken you are. You walk around everyday with a smile on your face but you feel like a disgrace.... scars on your wrist. You tell everyone you are fine but deep inside you feel worthless, broken, ugly, unloved, hopeless. You wonder if anyone cares? Is any one there? Does anyone love me? You feel scared… even scared to love. You think about suicide, but can never bring yourself around to it because inside you really want someone to save you. Thousands of people die everyday from suicide... so wake up and pay attention, tell those around you that you care.... do me a favor, because honestly the next victim could be your next door neighbor.
