Its amazing how peaceful things are when u dont have electricity. I actually can hear myself think. I feel closer to God as I pray with no distractions around. :-) BELCO I am not complaining because you all are doing a phenomenal job. We still dont have lights but our family has made sure we get hot showers every night. We have also eaten good meals. However, our son has deserted us every evening to go stay at his aunties house with lights... but hubby and I are cool with our lamps and flashlights and loads of snacks... we are enjoying the cool breeze from having our windows open while not having air condition. It has showed me how spoiled us as Bermudians have been... just think in some countries living without electricity is the norm. It would be a luxury! Another thing. .. if the BELCO workers are working 24/7 who is preparing their houses... can u imagine how tired they must be? God spared our lives during TS Fay... yes we lost material things that we worked hard for but they can be replaced... our families and friends cannot. So during this time spend Quality time with your families. .. kick it old school break out the cards and board games. Talk to each other!!! Im praying for the island as the Gonzalo approaches. Be safe everyone... pray. And uf you know God is speaking to you take heed...And dont make this storm political... I dont think any party has planned this storm. Random thought: Who names these Hurricanes anyway? If they needed help finding a name with a G I couldve helped. Graham, Garrett, Gary (Moreno), Guy... lol
