Its amazing how time flies. A year ago, I was two days into my Russian adventure. Ive done a lot of growing up since I got on that first plane and Im definitely not the same person I was. I give my time in Russia a lot of that credit, and I will never forget the experience of being able to not only survive in another country with a language I wasnt fluent in, but to thrive in that country. More than anything though, looking back, I realize that, while I loved my time in Russia, much of it was because of the people I met there and the friends I made. So heres to the anniversary of an amazing journey made even better by the friends I made along the way.
