Its amazing what we as Americans are letting happen to this country. Long gone are the days of self responsibility, a sense of loyalty, respect, honor, justice, morals, values, and just plain old common sense. If we give all the control and power to the government to "help us when we need it" or decide "who might need my money more than me" or any other form of redistributed wealth, we are giving away the exact things that made America, America. America was great because you could do anything. You as an individual could make for yourself the life you wanted. You decided how hard you wanted to work and what you wanted to achieve. I believe we can be that country again. We can be great again but we have to stop with the stupidity. We have to use common sense. We cant spend money we dont have. We have to stop giving money away for nothing. People are going to have to tighten up the belts a little and choose to be self sufficient. We have to as individuals take responsibility for our actions, our own well being, our kids, our country. We have to set rules and standards, and then uphold them. We need to make sure everyone pays a fair share, to get a fair share. If your taking from everyone else and not contributing, your hurting everyone else. We have a lot of work to do in this country and a lot of hard decision to make but things are never really going to get better until everyone pulls their heads out of their butts and looks at the whole picture. No more right wing left wing crap. We need to be respectful of other people but not so afraid of being sued that we cant say when our party or their party is wrong. "My name is Matthew Scott and I am running for president." ( For those of you who didnt get it that is a reference to a line in a movie. Ten points if you can figure out which one...)
