Its an I love the NHS day today. I have had assorted throat weirdness going on for some months now which isnt good in a former professional smoker, I could and frequently did smoke 40 to 50 a day until 2 1/2 years ago. After a GP visit last Friday I had a same day chest x-ray which was clear but it still left the endoscopy, which came through on fast track today as suspected cancer triggers fast track consultations. The good news is its all clear on the cancer front so Ill be around a bit longer yet. The point is I really new how important the NHS is over the last few days, it really needs to be cherished. Think about it when you vote next.
