Its an exciting time for Comet Lovejoy, C/2014 Q2! January 2015 should offer some spectacular opportunities to see this solar system body as it wanders through the inner solar system before it leaves once more for the dark depths of space, not to return to the vicinity of Earth in some 8000 years. ☆ ☄ ☆ I have seen countless articles and photos of this comet to date. Ill try to share some of those in Astronomy Club For Everyone in the coming new year as we hope for clear skies to see this wanderer in space.
