Its annoying how tv series in the Philippines keeps on having the same format over and over again. Too much drama, rich guy-poor girl/rich girl-poor guy with family feuds, us against the world love story. Seriously though why cant the big networks in the Philippines come up with substantial content. Something that will appeal to the intellect. Sure the target audiences usually are the masses, but if media practitioners keep on giving them what they want ( typical telenovela plots ) how can they even learn to think in depth? Networks should take inspiration from shows like lost, breaking bad, orange is the new black, prison break, fringe, csi
