Its apparently my turn to update the boards. My wife and I visited Harlan today, and hes doing quite well under the circumstances. Hes added a little motion to his right arm, and is undergoing regular and rigorous physical therapy. His mind, as everyone else has noted, is sharp as ever. Hes understandably frustrated by the need to stay in the hospital. Not his favorite place in the world, however he genuinely appreciates the staff at his current residence and tells them so. During our half hour visit, the phone rang no less than four times with callers as illustrious as Len Wein, and the Los Angeles Times. A long road ahead, but hes focussed and positive.
