Its back! Ashevilles first Imperial/Double IPA, the Rainmaker is now on tap and with 80 cases bottled up it wont be quite as limited as it was in the past. Clocking in at 9.7% ABV its got a lot of malt backbone to support 146 IBUs (I would say its actually pretty balanced) and 2# per barrel of dry hops (Columbus/Simcoe and Citra). Fermented nice and cool and aged for a month before dry hopping means its not hot or boozy. Drink it fresh! This is not a beer meant for long term aging...
