Its bad enough that I have to take them to school at the young age of four… #fb But in recent weeks as he has been asserting his independence he has not even wanted a hug to say goodbye when dropping off at school in the mornings. So… This morning as I tell him goodbye and that I love him and that Ill be praying for his day and I turned to walk away… I got about 40 feet away… Thats when I heard a voice break away from his friends and at the top of his lungs and exclaim, Wait daddy I want a hug and a kiss! I also hear the patter of footsteps racing to my back... And as I turn around I see two outstretched arms reaching up for me! Yeah… Ill pretty much be a puddle all day today!
