Its been 6 long months since the passing of my gorgeous sister Ali Rische. At the end of the month is the San Francisco Out of the Darkness Walk, which raises awareness for those who have survived suicide, those who live with mental illness, and for families who have lost a loved one. I am still fundraising for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and have reached about 80% of my goal of 1,000 dollars. Our team (Alis Eagles) has fundraised over twice the original goal of $2,000. At about 4,500 so far, Alis Eagles are in third place for the most money raised out of any team in the San Francisco area!
