Its been a busy 24 hours for Canopy Cat Rescue! Three cats - TopicsExpress

Its been a busy 24 hours for Canopy Cat Rescue! Three cats rescued, a flat tire, midnight ride in a tow-truck, long ferry ride, and Shaun is finally home resting up for what tomorrow could bring! Normandy Park in Seattle was the first destination last night for an unknown kitty stuck in a big fir tree. We scanned him on site (thanks to our newly-borrowed micro-chip scanner!) and he had a chip! The lovely women who called were taking him into the vet today to locate his owners. This morning, after flat-tire repairs, Shaun headed out to Redmond to rescue a sweet tabby kitty named Max. His folks were out of town, but his awesome neighbors were looking out for him and called us. He was sure happy to get out of that tree! Finally, Shaun began his long trek & ferry-ride out to Sequim to rescue Cooper, who had been stuck for several days. At first, Cooper growled at Shaun...but after a little sweet-talking and chin nuzzles, he was cozy in Shauns arms and ready for some selfies. No doubt that all three kitties rescued are probably resting well tonight...and so is Shaun.
