Its been a busy few weeks followed by a busy busy weekend. The joys of family work life balance. I must admit I struggled over the school holidays and felt slightly overwhelmed at trying to juggle entertaining and being a good mum and also keeping momentum with everything. My son absolutely loves spending time with me and even when I told him hed be bored he still wanted to be with me despite me offering plenty of other funner alternatives. So as I set him up with boxes to make space shuttles and rockets, chalk filled floors and dancing around the shop with a lil one on my back playing fire fire, its still valuable I guess in that I can still make memories with him while working. There was a day or two where he didnt come and I got a massive block to catch up and that is also so important to have some quiet me time because I came back feeling less stress, less overwhelmed and more eager to have fun. A better mum. So much guilt goes into being a mum, but at the end of the day, I guess its true all you need is love.
