Its been a busy few weeks for me. When I decided to do a book on the Sumatra trip, I thought Yeah, itll be easy, slap some photos on the pages and toss a few words on them. Boy was I wrong. Slapping photos on a page is easy, but making it entertaining is hard. And in the meantime I have finished a wedding photo book for some dear friends. As for taking photos, well, that really hasnt happened, and what I have been shooting really isnt that great. Today I have a special shoot on. One that Im honored to do. Then I think I will put the camera away for awhile. I need to get the kombi ready for the Hot Rod show in June, I have month in Melbourne in August so need to start advertising for some dance shoots while Im there, and in between all this, im hoping to get back to Sumatra to get the photos i wasnt able to get the first time so I can finish the book. PLUS get the hippie chick shoot in there somewhere. Busy times ahead. the clouds appear to be hanging around, the swell is a bit flippant, and Im struggling to take photos worthwhile to show people (sunsets are easy, can pretty much do them with my eyes closed). So things might be a lean while I get everything done. Stay tune though, Ill drop the odd page up from the book, and I am the Hot rod/Street Machine shows official photog so will have picks from there up during that weekend. Thats about it. Watch this space :)
