Its been a busy week, a busy month, a busy life..So (after a busy morning) I decided to make time for nothing today..Turned out to be something Ive wanted to do for quite some time, maybe not alone, but now that I was I wouldnt have it any other way..so began my secret rendezvous w myself to a beautiful cemetery on a gloriously beautiful autumn day. Packed wine, cheese, grapes and 2 books of love poems. Im just so grateful to be alive- I want to be fully engaged in the moment that is unraveling in front of me now..Even the pain thats left from loves that were lost serves as a reminder that were still alive and the best time, the only time to live is now..So here I am channeling the Victorian girl in me soaking in the sun, brushing the palm of my hand over soft blades of grass, sipping wine, reading poetry and watching a magnificent weeping willow sway in the breeze..Doing nothing here has opened a floodgate of inspiration for living a meaningful and purposeful life..Alone? Yes but hardly..the sound of stillness is music to my ears.. As I write this I see the tomb of a Mr. Bailey..A man whose life I know nothing about but at this very moment we share a common bond of being at peace. Right here right now..❤️
