Its been a couple days since the last update... I was so anxious about having Kiley home for the Ricker family Xmas celebration on Sunday, (yesterday), that I didnt want to jinx anything by writing something. Silly, I know, but I couldnt take the chance knowing that Kiley is still upset that she missed the Ricker family thanksgiving. Please know that it was only my immediate family members - so not all of the amazing Rickers in our family were there to celebrate with us. But when Kileys immune system is back up and running and she doesnt still need to be chaperoned to the bathroom to help with the discomfort- I look forward to having a big family party!!!! Anyhow - the great news is that Kiley stayed home yesterday and we had a WONDERFUL day! It was so nice being in our home and with family. It felt almost too good to be true. To top it off, I cant forget to mention the amazing group of people who came from all over and sang christmas carols to us in front of our house! (Thank you Rachel Fazio for organizing that!) It was very touching and it honestly felt like a scene from a feel-good lifetime movie. Thank you to everyone who made yesterday possible. Its going down in the books as my favorite christmas partys yet!!! I am saving the best news for last... Kiley went to clinic today thinking shed be admitted for her next round of chemo. She did not make counts, and so we were told to go home and not come back until next Monday!!! :) havent been this excited for Christmas since I was 10 and new I was getting my first double tape player so I could make my own mix tapes. :)
