Its been a long day, but a good one. We had a nice little visit with Great Grandma Smith this afternoon after Emerys pulmonary appointment. We have another appointment in Seattle-hopefully this next trip the specialist will decide do the surgery. The pulmonary doctor flat out said, he needs this surgery done. Ive never seen a childs tonsils so swollen that the opening to the throat is that small and he doesnt have problems eating or swallowing. Actually, he does. Im glad my family now has the backing of two doctors wanting this surgery. Now its all up to the ENT specialist. The beginning of March we have an overnight stay in Bellevue for his sleep study. Emery enjoyed looking at the pictures of children all robotd out who have also had sleep studies done on them. He will also have a few wires and sticky things mailed to him, so he can play Doc McStuffins before this visit so hes not so freaked out by all the wires on him for the study. Dr. Amber at Seattle Childrens in Everett is probably the coolest laid back doctor Emery has seen, ever!
