Its been a long while since I wrote something on my timeline.. Nights I spent by scrawling something but for no use. Then I found something interesting from our PM, Mr NarendraModi and Father Joseph Pawwathil. The recent statements from both clearly shows us how the leaders of two major religious force comes together to support each other for their personal and political and business gain. Modis circular to the schools across the country to screen a live telecast of his teachers day speech is just another ridiculous move from a totally ridiculous government to promote their ridiculous political ideology. The timings they chose for the screening makes no sense. Once the screening is over, all schools are instructed to revert to the education department regarding the total number of students in the school, and the number that attended the program. The Modi government insist the school authority to make it compulsory. As we all know the governments from time to time keenly observes and intrude cleverly to add their political ideology and their interpretation of the history into the syllabus. The history we learn from the syllabus is just the ruling classs views and not the mere facts. We have seen everything and just swallowed it as it is without being skeptical. Hinduism in BJPs view, Congresss interpretation of freedom movement. How many of us know the exact facts about the great freedom movement? How come Bhagath Singh and SubhashChandra Bose no longer commemorated like other freedom fighters. Now Modiji came up with same sort of decision by naming teachers day as Guru utsav. devious step to implement their political agenda by naming these kind of occasions by Sanskrit terms and making them more close to Hinduism. It is a discreet attempt to impose Sanskrit terms and indirectly keeps the people close to Hinduism and its hierarchical structure. It was indeed no surprise for me when Father Joseph Pawwathil was boasting about BJPs stand on Gaza issue. The statement was just a 100th day gift for Modi Government. Rather blaring horns against Israels inhuman movement against Palastine Mar Pawwathil was more keen to point his fingers against the internal conflicts happening in Islamic states and He has no hesitation to convey his support to Israeli Government. This is how communal-ism works. They come together for a common cause mostly for their business purposes. Pawwathil statement against the suffered Gaza people is just another example of to what extent the people is divided by religion and caste even we claim to be a society with unity in diversity.
