Its been a lot of trials simultaneous with a bombardment ambiguous opportunity lately. I know good things are nigh, yet almost everything has been trying to give me doubt and discouragement. Ive dealt with almost every type of difficulty being a woman in business. This really goes for anyone chasing after there dreams... but in particular when youre carving a new path in more than one respect.... dont expect that everyone will be cheering you on wanting you to succeed. Most people dont encourage or congratulate the things they themselves dont have the courage to do ..yet :). Its been getting worse the more successes I have, the more that tries to bring me down. Im admitting this because I dont want to pretend that this path is glamorous and blissful all the time when its actually a constant refinement process. In fact its like climbing a mountain that you keep thinking youre close to reaching the top and you come around a corner seeing you have yet another series of challenging cliffs ahead. But as I tried rock climbing recently, you learn to enjoy the challenge. Having to search for the solution while every muscle in your body is being stretched and you wonder how youll hang on. But you find a way because you have to. And youre so gratified when you do. You have to constantly look ahead to know how to maneuver. Then look back to see how far youve already come. To not be afraid to fall but smile at how much strength youve had along the way. I had a not so empowering encounter with someone today. One where it was better to just walk away. So I went and empowered myself with some womens history and some quotes. So I figured Id throw some of that to all you lovely people as well... enjoy these highlights. Its perfectly OK to feel down sometimes. Just find the things that get you back up the quickest :) Keep being amazing. Uplift and encourage one another in each others challenges. We all face them. This world needs more doers instead of naysayers. The world needs more love than pride. Im working on being more proactive than reactive. Its all quite the journey. Love you all
