Its been a rough day! Was headed to Brew Do in Blacksburg so I could hand out fliers for the Dark Carnival. Get on 460 and realize I have a flat. Slowly, I creep to the Exxon at the WV state line and buy a can of fix-a-flat. I tried making it back to Princeton but no such luck. I had to pull over on 460. The tire is too far gone to be fixed. I tried changing the tire. Twice I had the car jacked up and twice a big 18 wheeler zoomed by and the rocking of the car knocked the car off the jack. I called road side assistance and was on hold for 27 minutes. A Good Samaritan came along with a better jack and helped me change the tire. My little donut tire and I made it back to Princeton. I took it to Walmart to get a tire and they informed me it was unsafe to drive with these tires and I would need 4 new tires, not one. $400 that wasnt planned for and a three hour wait. However, as I sit here at the bench across from the checkout at the Princeton, WV Walmart I realize it could always be worse.... I could have messed myself like the man who just sat down next to me....
