Its been a rough day&night. We made the news too I guess..I was one of the Two females who was taken to the hospital..Im home&ok. Mild Smoke Inhalation---Same w/my friend, Angela, whos staying with us right now.The spa room,where I stay, is about 10-12-ft from the motorhome&most of the animals stay in there w/me. Angela&I were going in&out of the spa-room,trying to get all the animals out. We have several 4month old kittens*( who need good homes!)-as well as 4 cats of our own in the back room with me,&2 dogs in the front of the house. The backyard fence is gone,&we have to figure out something to keep the dogs in. One wall of the back room(*spa rm)-is melted,&were not sure just how damaged it is,and one side of the house sustained heat&smoke damage as well. The motorhome is completely gone.,&Erics truck is a total loss as well. It was parked next to the motorhome. This happened less than an hour before Bert was expected to be at the airport-to pick up his 70-yr-old mom,coming home from a 3-week trip. It was,of course-her motorhome.. She is understandably devastated,as are we all. It held as much sentimental value for her,as it did financial.&Most of us here have stayed in it at one time or another..its been a mechanical friend to the family,&to come home to that was pretty hard on his mom-along with having to tell her both Angela&I had been taken to the hospital..&the whole thing had made the news as well--All four major/local stations.* Welcome Home Farrie-Ann-we sure missed you!! Thats about it, in a nutshell. Sorry if this post is a bit hard to follow..Im feeling pretty loopy.Just wanted to let everyone know what happened,tell you all, That while it was very scary,&a pretty close call as well, were all ok-even the animals! Eric lost everything he owns though--literally.His truck&everything he owned. He has the shorts he was wearing,&the shoes Bert gave him-&thats literally all he has left!,hes 59,medium build&could use some help getting together clothing&toiletries etc. Guess him@ XL shirt& 30/32 pants..hes about 170lbs..anyone who can help, please get in touch with me.
