Its been a very busy, and exciting, weekend! Friday morning Dwayne Price helped me pick up our new couch which, If you havent seen Jennifer Childers posts, is AWESOME! in the afternoon our good friend David Sullivan joined us at Luxe Nail Spa - Columbus Nail Salon for mani/pedis to honor our fund raising commitment for the Susan G. Komen walk for the cure/ Thunder Tunnel. Pink nails all round. Saturday morning we were up early braving the cold to gather with an estimated 300 other bikers who were forming Thunder Tunnel on High St. for the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. Once we were positioned on High St. Jennifer made her way to the start line, and walked for the cure. BTW; she raised $2500 in case you missed it, (THANKS TO EVERY ONE WHO DONATED!!) Once Jennifer made it back to where I was with the bike she joined me for the tunnel experience, and we were thrilled to catch up with Judy Ann Schiewer, one of the MANY survivors who participates in the race every year, and a new yet dear friend. And to add to the excitement, we were featured in a special of the Columbus Dispatch. once the cops ran us off, we headed for Bob Evans for breakfast where we were tremendously taken aback when the manager insisted on comping our meals as a reward for our support of the RFTC. After a nap, and a bit of freshening up, we had the honor of attending the wedding of David A Salsgiver to his lovely bride Heather. CONGRATULATIONS you two. Sunday was actually a pretty light day, (comparatively). Tried to help Steven Turner repair his truck, unfortunately it appears that issue is bigger than we thought, so well probably revisit that one next weekend. Then CGMCs Illuminati concert in the afternoon before heading over to Villa Nova for a wonderful Italian supper. Today, I had my second interview with Kimball Midwest. You may have seen that I felt that it went well even though I could have done better in a couple of areas. BTW; this afternoon I accepted an offer. I start June 2nd.
