Its been a very busy couple of weeks on my mini southern tour!! We arrived home at 3am this morning after the final gig of the tour at the Bulldog Bash in Stratford. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make this tour happen - including those who advised us of locations, venues and contacts etc.. especially: Richard Dunning for all his hard work and support for the Tuesday Night Music Club gig in Surrey on the first night and for having us on his show beforehand too - and to Rosalind for the wonderful welcome. :) And to you both again for coming to the BBs gig! ... Kevin Beale for being simply fantastic for the whole of the two days we were in Folkestone, for showing us around and having us on his show and for coming to The Chambers gig... and to JB Hery too - you rock! ... Nigel Feist... for the 39 Steps gig in Broadstairs and for joining me on stage for a couple of songs with your expert harp playing, AND for your hospitality. One of the good guys! ... Robin Bibi, Annette & Michael for the gig at BBs Blues Club in Merton - we had a fab time and were well looked after! ... Richard Flod Harris for a slot on his show and for introducing us to Morris Dancing!!! :D ... Dave Raven for recording a session with me for his show and for showing us around the Thames by boat - Jack loved it too!! Wonderful to meet the beautiful Suellen too. :D Bilbo & Robin for accommodating us between London & Frome. :D Thank you both. ... Steve at Bell Inn, Bath and to Merrick for the great sound! To Ollie and Joe for making the journey over, thank you both again. ... Dave Watkins for the radio slot and for supporting the gig at The Cheese and Grain in Frome too. :) ... Griff Daniels and Colin at Cheese & Grain for being simply outstanding people! We loved it!! :D ... John Roberts and Andy Broad at Bullfrog Blues Club in Southsea... to Ruby Tiger and King Rollo for supporting - super night! :D Graham Hutton for photos, Sarah Reeve and too many others to mention for guidance, Chris Fossy Fosbrook for coming down to Southsea - great to finally meet you. Anne & Malcolm for a lovely Cornish lunch and a spin in the Porsche down in Bodmin! :D ... Banger Ashfield for the mainstage gig at Bulldog Bash! We had a blast!! Thank you! :) Good to meet Dudley Ross, thanks to Jim McNeill for supporting the TNMC gig, John Bull for photos too... Most of all to my partner and manager Red, for the tireless work and organisation... and to our lad Jack - best roadie there is!!! :) ...and to everyone else we encountered on our travels, and anyone Ive forgotten (sorry!) - B&B owners, fooderies, venue staff - you all played your part. The first tour of many we hope! Happy Clatch. :)
