Its been a very challenging couple of days - tending to our 7 children, being at the hospital, and making sure Hunters needs are met. We do not have family for additional support - grandfather in his late 80s, and in-laws arent in the picture. As much as I truly appreciate all the outside offers to babysit.. Hunters needs (from g-tube feedings, to an every 3 hour medicine regimen/schedule) are very demanding. We may request a home health nurse - provided we can get approval for this type of situation - to help alleviate some of the unexpected weight. For the time being, my oldest boys are currently helping.. and know how to act incase of an emergency. For those who offered outside help, gas cards (gianteagle/Gift-Cards/ *OR* sheetz) would be wonderful since Im traveling back and forth between the hospital and our home every 2 1/2 hours!! Meals for the kiddos from locals would be awesome too (been up until 3-4am every night cooking for the following day) - text me directly (724.205.1586) to coordinate!
