Its been a while since Ive welcomed our new members. Thank you for tuning in. Let me put PT into perspective relative to the rest of physics. Contemporary physics is dominated by five perspectives: Boltzmanns Thermodynamics, Einsteins Relativity, Plancks Quantum Mechanics, Teslas Electrostatics, and Heisenbergs String Theory. There are of course other perspectives. Beware not to think any of these perspectives holds a monopoly on cosmology. Each is but a piece in the grand picture. Phase Theory is cosmology, and as such has a different take on the variables and definitions. These have no bearing on your practical use of whichever perspective. PT applies when you want to expand the boundaries of that perspective to other perspectives and the universe generally. PT evolved from a mathematical algorithm (the image provided for this post) developed to identify the relationships between variables with commitment to hard data, not any theory. The hardest part of solving the algorithm was eliminating the theories interpreting the data. The next hardest part was reintroducing interpretation, which began as a dictionary. That got out of control and needed a narrative, and from that came the cosmology we now call Phase Theory. Unlike traditional theories, PT is an open-platform. It isnt a single theory but a synthesis derived from the proven data of all the theories. It did this by converting everything to the most elementary mathematical forms and applying ALL the rules ALL the time. PT succeeds as a cosmology where all the others fail because it adjusts its optics appropriately to the problem, rather than committing to a narrow view. Like any science, it is not complete and likely never will be. Take nothing for granted here. Do not assume you know anything. Elementary things are covered not for the novice, but for everyone because they are all adjusted to include the full range of logical features. If you know computer programming, you will recognize the features of algorithms incorporated into rationalized definitions that significantly enhance all of mathematics. Do not skip the algebra. Do not skip the calculus. Do not interject your familiar definitions they are explicitly defined by PT. If you missed the definition and things arent clicking, find the definition. Teslas electrostatics is not generally accepted as a relevant or recognized perspective. A key element of his work was the idea of transmitting energy over a distance. It happens this is a real subject better handled by quantum theory, and specifically quantized interactions. Unfortunately it doesnt do what you really want it to do (see LQG Basics post). PT doesnt aim to please, it just aims to provide the facts. If you understand the rules, you can learn to find your way through them just as nature does---at least where a thing is even possible.
