Its been a while so here is an update on my son Ben for all my friends who have been sending healing and ewll wishes. Ben has been discharged from the Brain Rehab unit and gone home to St George - he has to stay with either his dad or grandmother (not allowed to go home to his own place on his own). He returns to Brisbane for the operation to remove the cancer on 25th September, then will have a few other followup appointments till he gets the all clear that they have found and removed all the cancer. A big thankyou to all of you for supporting me through this difficult period - the car accident and resulting brain injury was a big enough shock but to then have them find cancer was a real blow (I know the accident was now a blessing in disguise but it doesnt make the pain any less)
