Its been an amazing year in the life of this band. As a 10-year-old creature, we won a GRAMMY award for the song Something with the incredible Lalah Hathaway on our first music-education-for-youth benefit album Family Dinner - Volume One. We played shows in Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Belgium, Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Brazil, Canada, and of course, our very own United States. We released the live DVD/album We Like It Here in March and recorded another live DVD/album called Sylva with The Metropole Orchestra, which will be released in April 2015. And most of all, we shared beautiful moments (and hopefully a little bit of music) with old and new friends around the world. Next year, well release Sylva on Impulse! Records, record Family Dinner - Volume Two in New Orleans and release it in the summer/fall, record another instrumental album in Texas in August, make our first full-scale music documentary in collaboration with a wonderful international media organization, and play a bunch of live shows in countries both new and familiar. I want to thank each and every one of you who continues to support us and all of the other incredible bands out there making the music they want to make for the people who want to hear it.
