Its been an extra exciting morning in the Batzilla House of Lunacy and we rescued 4 batties this morning. Three out of netting over a lychee tree and a skinny little baby who tried to fly out of the colony when mum didnt return. More on her later. You can only see one bat in this video but there was another one directly behind him and one on the other side of the tree. What an absolute pleasure it was to deal with such a compassionate and fabulous family who didnt hesitate for a second in giving us permission to cut the net and take it down and for then buying a bat friendly alternative that will cause no harm to wildlife. All three bats will be okay but they will be in care for some time. Sincere thanks to Clyde and his beautiful family and I hope your lychee tree delivers a bumper crop next season safely protected under Hailguard netting!!
