Its been an incredible week for some of my NYU friends . . . just to mention a few: I got to watch Arjun Gupta on one of my fav new shows How To Get Away With Murder, Elle Varner released an epic new video and song in anticipation of her new album Four Letter Word, Jonathan McCrorys 1st season as Director of Theater Arts Programming at The National Black Theatre: Institute for Action Arts received 11 AUDELCO nominations, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino ALSO released an epic music video and a mixtape this week, Kimberly Youngs beautiful face is featured in the new GAP #dressnormalproject campaign, Darius Clark Monroes film Evolution of a Criminal Film continues to get rave reviews and is currently screening at the IFC Center in NYC, and this Monday, Ill get to see my peoples Gina Rodriguez & Alano Miller on CWs Jane The Virgin. And I know there are many more of us NYUers whove had other achievements big and small this week. Bravo, ALL! Lets continue to diligently trust and believe in our calling and uplift one another.
