Its been awhile since I shared an update on our adventure but its only because we have been busy busy busy! Still working on insulating the cabin and woo hoo we have a new door! The old door was homemade this one is a steel door with a window and lets light in, the cats hate it as the old one made a convenient way to climb up to the loft and yowl until someone got up and fed them. Interior of cabin is coming along nicely but still much work to do. Its still raining and hampers the entire process by slowing us down on getting logs moved. Goat girlies are getting pretty round in the belly and all are anxious to see the little kids hit the ground, pigs are as obnoxious as ever and Charlotte has proven pigs fly regardless of fence height if there is food involved.we did have our first snow earlier this month but it was short lived to the dismay of my children. New school books are supposed to be in at post office finally and kids are very excited about that as am I. Its always exciting to get new books and materials for learning. Halloween is almost upon us and I want to thank my friend Jill for the candy, Halloween decorations and more candy! Hoping weather holds so kids can take part in the Halloween activities I have discovered through some fellow homeschoolers. They are all prepared for the chilly trip out thanks to my friend Cathy who sent them each very warm hats and insulated gloves. Cathy the coffee you sent is very yummy and I am enjoying it as we speak! Well its time once again to begin the day so I will leave you all with this thought-when your feeling alone with the weight of the world on your shoulders take a deep breath, bow your head and say a prayer of thanks to our Heavenly Father for always being there to shoulder the burdens and to Jesus for being your guiding light.
