Its been exactly 2 months to the day, that I left. Hey, how hard can this be?! Apparently, it IS tough getting an accurate, consistent forecast from the same people at the same place! Enjoy! Weather Note: Today, Sunday, starts Meteorological Summer...for the next 3 months. Obviously, climatological doesnt begin for 3 weeks. Also, there are no meteor showers or astronomical things of note in the very near future... A weak bubble of high pressure over the area will gradually give way to an approaching but weak cool front from the Midwest. The front is weakening, because it is running into the (dry) high, which is tailgating a offshore storm that is actually backing up westward towards the coast, log-jamming everything for a few days. The net effect is another nice day for Monday, a few run-of-the-mill showers and rumbles of thunder Tuesday as the front approaches and kinda washes out, leaving clouds to start Wednesday, but the high will rebuild for a day, Wednesday, before a second storm over the Plains develops over the Delmarva Peninsula and brings a rainy Thursday to us, with lingering light off/on popcorn-in-the-microwave like showers for Friday.
