Its been exactly one month since me and Magrete Jue moved to Asia. In that time weve experienced eleven airplanes, four countries, way too many hotel rooms, a bunch of islands, beaches, mountains, jungles, illness, healing, Buddhist temples, ancient ruins, incredible adventures, outstanding food of all sorts and awesome people everywhere. Basically, none of our plans went as expected and weve been learning a lot from our mistakes along the way. Most significantly, weve experienced every moment to the fullest, without letting expectations cause negative judgment on the many unexpected twists. I look forward to maintaining that attitude and growing from each experience. Weve done so much more in thirty days than I can even process right now. It actually feels like several months have passed. In two days Ill be leaving Borneo for rehearsals and video shoots in Vietnam to prepare for my first gig opening in Kuala Lumpur this November. Im exhausted from all of this travel and Im excited to get to work with Phoenyx Novelle and to become totally consumed by music!
