Its been exactly one week since I’ve been in Sweden. One week since I’ve seen my friends from all over; one week since I’ve eaten Polly Bilar; one week since the end of one of the best years of my life. Living in Sweden the last little while has taught me that there’s so much in the world, and so little time to see it all. I’ve seen so much in a year, and I’m so thankful to all my host families and friends who’ve made this year so special!! I’ve met some of the most amazing people while away, and built bonds and made memories that are honestly enough to last a whole lifetime. Seven days ago was also the last time I saw one of my best friends in the world, and despite the fact that I only knew him for about a year, I know our friendship will go on forever. It’s hard to be with someone almost every day for a year, and be able to just pack up and leave.. We’ve been through everything together, from running for a bus, to pretending to know how to work out, to even getting lost in a forest as big as a block. I can’t put in words how hard it was to say goodbye to him, but the fact that I had to say goodbye meant that had I met him, and that’s good enough for me. I wouldve liked to spend more time with you, but I guess our adventures have to wait until next time. You’ll always be in my heart wingman/buddy/pal, don’t forget to run with elephants at least twice a day, and I’m looking forward to seeing you soon. Love ya pal
