Its been official for a bit now, but I finally received my itinerary this evening...On November 6th I will be Israel-bound!! Big thank you to Taglit-Birthright Israel and Israel Outdoors for making this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible for me. I know many of you (or people close to you) have been on a similar trip...if you have any suggestions--must see historical sites, things to pack, places to eat/shop, even people to visit--please feel free to post them here or send me a message, Id love to hear from you. Without getting too into detail, Ill be visiting: The Negev, Eilat, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and some northern regions. Im so pumped to visit a place of such historical significance...my #1 goal is to return with KNOWLEDGE, tons of it, about everything: current affairs, the Jewish religion itself, the history of the state and surrounding land and why it is so important to people of ALL cultures, and so on down the line (In case you were wondering, my #2 goal is to get a lot of you souvenirs :P). the countdown is on...
