Its been pretty quiet around my house for the past several months. Putting my 12 and a 1/2 year old Alaskan Malamute, Cypress, down broke my heart, but that, unfortunately, is part of dog ownership. The freedom of not having a dog is nice but the joy of having a dog far out weighs that freedom to me. I cant wait to get this little girl this weekend. Ive always had a male and excited about something different. Im thinking this girl and I are going to have a lot of good years ahead of us and welcome the challenges ahead. I picked this little girl mainly because of the loving demeanor and beauty of her parents which are a mix of northern breeds like Cypress was. I cannot wait for the long walks and hikes I get to share with her. She will be a Shop Dog as well at River Rock Realty.
