Its been six years since a night that really changed my life. My mothers smile still lights my dreams and much of my reality. Thankful for the support she gave to me and others, and for the time I had with her. In a number of ways her death changed the course of what was to come and enabled me to do things I never even considered or knew that I wanted. Yesterday my father and his surgeons successfully navigated a heart surgery that will enhance his life for many years to come. Im so happy that it all went well and will admit to having been quite worried. Perspective is everything and the sweet is never so sweet without the bitter. Cheers to all you wonderful people on another great day.
