Its been such a busy month that Im having trouble keeping up with publicity for all of my concerts! Thats a good thing, but it means that Im only giving you one days notice for this one - tomorrow night, November 2, Im singing Maurice Duruflés Requiem with the combined choirs of St. Johns Cathedral and St. Andrews Episcopal Church, and Ill be the mezzo soloist in the Pie Jesu. This is with full orchestra - well also be singing Handels Zadok the Priest and Elgars They are at rest. Also on the program is Debussys Danse Sacrée et Danse Profane performed by harpist Ann Marie Liss and Opus 33 No. 6 Quartet by Haydn with the Colorado Chamber Players. If you cant make it Saturday night, the Duruflé Requiem will be repeated in the context of a Solemn Requiem for All Souls service at St. Johns Cathedral on Sunday at 3 pm.
