Its been the kind of a day like the one in the childrens story book called. If you give a Mouse a Cookie I got connected to a wonderful page through a friend after many tries and resets of the pages settings so people from other countries other than USA could view the page.. and then the first thing I see on the page is a video on how to plant garlic which reminded me that I have garlic to plant and today would be a great day to do so... I get my garlic ready and then go out side to get the garden wagon and tractor so I can haul some things but then I see the wagon is full of bunny bus leavings which I take to the big garden and then when I am there and have an empty wagon I decide that this is a perfict time to haul the corn stalks and pea vines to the pigs.. and then as I pass the house I stop to clean out some of the front flower garden and then when I get going on that I remember that I wanted to put some shavings down for a winter cover and mulch. So, I go down to dump my full wagon out at the piggies (who are sound asleep) and then stop at the bunny bus to give them some corn stalks and say hi and the go down to the shaving pile at the back. I stop the tractor, fill up my wagon and then the tractor wont start so I have to hoof it back up to the house for the quad and then try and macgyver a way to hook the wagon on to the quad and then bring up the shavings and make the garden look pretty. Then when I am done that I look at the next garden and see that it needs to be dug up and fluffed a little bit too. After moving around a few flowers and getting the vines and old flowers cut down and then thinking that this ground is really hard and thinking about what I could do about it... I get a light bulb moment and remember that I have 2 old straw bales left over that would make good garden amendment and also help keep my plants warm for the winter...so I break open a bale and tuck that garden in then clean up in front of the little beds where the flowers like to jump out and look all higgledy piggildy.... and then I come in for a drink and see .... the garlic sitting on the table.... Hummm... maybe tomorrow will be a good garlic planting day... :) And all because Happy Hallow recommended Chucks Back Yard Garden Space to me and I saw a video.... well!
