Its been three years since the reality of my life shifted, but there was not a single day when I wished for things to go back to being the way they were. Deep within, I knew that the shift was positive though difficult and complicated. Earlier, my world revolved around my children and my family. My social life revolved around common family friends - mostly college friends and colleagues. So there came a time when I ended up with no friends at all. A technically challenged person like me got hooked on to Facebook. I made a lot of friends in the virtual friends, met a few liars too. I have never been a student of English Literature or an avid reader. I did write very rarely in college, and writing poems came back to me. All of my poems have been a hundred percent me. Its time to move on and I am happy that I am in place where I am content with where and what I am. I seldom write poems now and I am happy about it for it means that I have nothing to throw out of my system. Life beckons with new dreams and more responsibility. Most importantly, its time to start doing all that Ive always wanted to do but never could. So I will be restricting my visits to Facebook, only as much as is required to stay in touch with my friends. As far as poems are concerned, will go back to the ones I have already written, edit them and compile them in a blog, the link for which I will share on this wall. Life goes on and no love is ever lost...
