Its been very well documented how much I loved my mom. In my time here on FB Ive also expressed a great deal of love and respect for ALL single moms. With that said, A little over a year from now (Nov. 30, 2015) will mark the 20th yr anniversary of the death of my mom. In honor of this event, after discussing it with my wife Lisa, I have decided to donate 20% of my 2015 gross income to the Atlantic County Womens Center for domestic violence. My mother was a victim of domestic violence and this is something really near and dear to my heart. Additionally, I will be volunteering my expertise in finance and taxation to the Womens Center for their Home to Work program that help these women gain the necessary tools needed for them to advance in business and life once they leave the shelter. This is something my mom sorely needed for we also lived in one of these shelters and I do not believe she ever truly developed these financial skills. If anyone would like to join me in volunteering Im sure more help is needed. Trust me, as the son of strong but damaged woman, these women need our time more than our money, especially from GOOD men.
