Its cold outsde!!!! Brrrrrrrrr Glad we got the heat lamp in for the chickens last night! Put Foxys blanket on her today cause yeah she has no coat still, Ughhh I dont understand why she has the best of feed and care she just wont grow a coat I held off as long as I could trying to force her to get one but NOPE just a lil fuzz. Its awesome in the spring, SUCKS for winter! But she gets double blanketed when it drops down and does well. Everyone else is all plushy and doing well. Might put Brazils on at night since her shoulders get stiff with the cold. But she has an amazing thick beautiful coat. Cant blanket Satin of course cause he turns any blanket into shreds in 35 mins. So he goes natural. Good thing he is very fluffy! This cold snap has all the horses feeling spunky tho had them all tearing around and being obnoxious! LOL Had to take Blondie out of Foxys pen cause she was running and playing so much she was making Foxy tired and sore. Babys were pretty quiet tho just standing eating LOL They are NOT going to need blankets with 3 inches of fluff and fur that I can barely get my fingers thru to find their fat lil bellys!
