Its constantly being reported across radio news, the internet is buzzing with talk about it, and print/television media continues to keep a steady eye on it...of course that it is the Ebola virus. Updates have recently been published by a series of news outlets stating that the health condition of the Spanish nurse, Teresa Romero (the first person from outside of West Africa, to have contracted the virus), has worsened, and have also raised issues of the quarantined American, Eric Duncan, who died on Wednesday in Dallas, Texas. There are many medical experts who are highlighting the importance of finding a way to contain Ebola, as there are fears that it could spiral to an uncontrollable level (with current strands allegedly mutating exclusively between individuals, each time its passed on), and with the virus being labelled as a pandemic, it would seem that doctors should have every right to raise the alarm. Even the World Bank Group has started to calculate the economic effects the outbreak with have on the West African region (financial impact could reach US$32.6 billion/£20.2 billion by the end of 2015).. With all this being said, however, is this coverage and overall mainstream concern about the Ebola virus outbreak, just another over sensationalised piece of media madness? (We saw it with the SARS outbreak in China back in 2002-2003) Or is there something substantial within the reports and [slowly-but-surely] increasing panic? https://youtube/watch?v=ANUI4uT3xJI&list=PLw613M86o5o7q1cjb26MfCgdxJtshvRZ-
